Issue Nº 01 Perspective
It has always been a radical act to share stories during dark times.
We believe in the power of story to renew an ancient and widely forgotten truth: that the earth is an interdependent, unified, and living ecosystem, of which we are but one part.
Through emerging stories we explore the timeless connections between ecology, culture, and spirituality.

I live my life in widening circles that reach out across the world. I may not complete this last one but I give myself to it.
I circle around God, that primordial tower. I’ve been circling for thousands of years and I still don’t know:
am I a falcon,
a storm,
or
a great song?

We have broken the circle,
and made ourselves a new
image to live by.
Not a return,
but an onward movement.
Not a cycle,
but a progression.
Not a circle,
but a straight line.
